According to Glassnode, there are now more than 1 million Bitcoin addresses that each hold at least one full BTC — a symbolic milestone in Bitcoin adoption. While the number fluctuates with market sentiment, this steady rise shows growing confidence among long-term holders.

The growth of so-called “wholecoiners” has accelerated in recent years, despite price volatility and market cycles. Analysts believe this trend reflects a broader shift from speculative trading toward long-term conviction.

Of course, this doesn’t mean 1 million people own 1 BTC each — some users control multiple addresses, and exchanges often hold coins on behalf of thousands of users. But it does illustrate the increasing scarcity of Bitcoin, especially with only 21 million coins ever to exist.

As adoption spreads, owning just one BTC is becoming a psychological and digital milestone — and one that might get harder to reach over time.
